The InnoVision jury panel is composed of consultants, technical leaders, university members, business leaders, and industrial researchers; all located outside the state of South Carolina. The judging process seeks the most significant new innovations in development, integration, sustainability, education, community service, and small enterprise.

The 2022 Judges:

Kevin Andrews

Kevin presently serves as Senior Program Manager at NineSigma NA in the Cleveland, Ohio region. He is a physical chemist with a strong background in R&D and a keen ability to connect innovations.




Ashu Jain

Ashu presently manages the Digital Health/Home business for Welch Allyn, a subsidiary of Hillrom Inc., a global multinational medical device company. His experience spans several industries including medical devices and diagnostics, medical equipment, water, renewable energy, consumer products, and agriculture. He has an MBA from Syracuse University Martin J. Whitman School of Management, in Finance and Marketing with Innovation Management specialization.

Tony Kim

SERVIR Project Manager at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, Tony was born 1966 in Seoul, South Korea.  He immigrated to America in 1974 with his parents and grew up in suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Tony graduated from University of Illinois in 1989 with an Aerospace Engineering degree.  He started working for NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in 1990 and have since obtained a Material Science Masters from Auburn University in 2001.  He was selected by NASA in 1997 to attend the International Space University at Rice University. He was also selected for the NASA Administrator’s Fellowship Program in 2003-2005. Tony’s past projects include nuclear thermal propulsion, deep throttling lunar lander engines, 3D-printing space habitats and rocket engines, helio-telescopes, lightning sensing from remotely operated air vehicle, International Space Station and Space Lab payload operations, and advanced propulsion technologies.

Don Ross

Don is President of Innovare, Inc. in the greater Boston area. Innovare examines and discovers the backbone of technical problems and utilizes a vast network of contacts and methods to bring solutions to major clients. Prior to starting his company, Don was Director of Innovation at Ocean Spray.



Brad Tompkins

Brad is the Executive Director of the VMware User Group (VMUG), operating out of Franklin, Tennessee. Eloise Young

Eloise is challenge designer for HeroX, a sister organization to XPrize.  She is part of the design team for the Base 11 Space Challenge that recently launched. She is an organic chemist operating her own consultancy in Moreland Hills, Cleveland, Ohio.
